Taipei Blockchain Week 2023 Returns in December to Scale New Heights in Blockchain Innovation

Taipei Blockchain Week returns for its second year, following an immensely successful inaugural launch that saw over 2,000 attendees from all corners of the globe. The highly anticipated event returns to Taiwan, affirming its position as a global blockchain conference. As TBW is a community-built event co-hosted by Bu Zhi DAO and TABEI, backed by strategic partners Avalanche, Google Cloud, and Sora Ventures, and supported by the National Development Council, Startup Island Taiwan, and the Bitcoin and Crypto Currency Development Association, the conference aims to bridge Taiwan with the world.

Embracing the theme of “Scale,” Taipei Blockchain Week 2023 looks to explore new frontiers in blockchain/AI technology and its applications. The main event will span six eventful days from December 11 to December 16 at Song Shan Cultural Park and Taipei New Horizon, providing a platform for blockchain enthusiasts, developers, entrepreneurs and industry leaders to connect, learn and innovate while over 50 partner and side events are expected to happen throughout December.

The excitement begins the week before with Funding The Commons’ inaugural tour of Taipei, led by da0 and TABEI, to bring together communities in Web2, Web3, academia and philanthropy to address challenges and solutions in public goods on December 9-10. Taipei Blockchain Week officially kicks off a power-packed three-day Hackathon from December 11 to December 13 with the Sui Foundation as the title sponsor, attracting over 500 developers from diverse backgrounds to participate in creating cutting-edge solutions using blockchain technology. On December 14 and 15, the TBW “Scale” Conference will take center stage, featuring top-notch speakers, visionary entrepreneurs and leading experts from the blockchain and tech industry. Taipei Blockchain Week reaches its pinnacle on December 16 with the Sora Summit, orchestrated by Sora Ventures. Since its inception in Macau in 2018, the Sora Summit has been a flagship event of Sora Ventures, emphasizing the integration of East-West blockchain paradigms. This year, it will spotlight four pivotal themes: the Bitcoin ecosystem, encryption and data privacy, decentralized science, and NFT utility and decentralized finance (DeFi) infrastructure.
