Whales Move Over $443,000,000 in Bitcoin and Ethereum in Just One Day – Here’s Where the Crypto Is Going
New data indicates a handful of crypto whales moved more than $443 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) in just 24 hours earlier this week.
The largest single transaction involved an unknown wallet sending 2,554 BTC worth more than $95.6 million to the crypto exchange Coinbase, according to the crypto-surveying platform Whale Alert.
Per Whale Alert, other large BTC transactions included:
- 798 BTC worth more than $29.6 million transferred from the crypto exchange Binance to an unknown wallet
- 1048 BTC worth $39.1 million transferred from an unknown wallet to Binance
- 1,139 BTC worth more than $42.7 million transferred from Coinbase to an unknown new wallet
- 574 BTC worth more than $21.1 million transferred from Coinbase to an unknown wallet
- 1,089 BTC worth more than $41.1 million transferred from Binance to an unknown wallet
Bitcoin is trading at $37,665 at time of writing.
Notable Ethereum transactions included:
- 12,000 ETH worth more than $24.1 million transferred from an unknown wallet to the crypto exchange GateIO
- 17,651 ETH worth more than $36.1 million transferred from an unknown wallet to Coinbase
- 17,910 ETH worth more than $36.2 million transferred from an unknown wallet to Coinbase
- 10,000 ETH worth more than $20.2 million transferred from an unknown wallet to Binance
- 10,000 ETH worth more than $20.2 million transferred from BitDao, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) aiming to promote Web 3.0, to an unknown wallet
- 17,978 ETH worth more than $36.7 million transferred from an unknown wallet to Coinbase
