Trump’s Odds Drop Over 10% on Polymarket; New Election-Themed Game Pack Shocks Gamers

  • Donald Trump’s chances have fallen over 10% on Kalshi and Polymarket, though showing him still slightly ahead of Harris.
  • The battle for crucial swing states, especially Pennsylvania, may determine the election outcome according to Polymarket.
  • Meanwhile, a popular game releases candidate-themed skins, adding a playful, albeit satirical, element to election season.

Just hours from the US presidential elections and the race couldn’t be closer, at least that’s what the polls are saying. Meanwhile, the betting markets have seen Donald Trump’s odds drop significantly.

Donald Trump’s odds of winning the upcoming presidential election have dropped over 10% on prediction markets such as Kalshi and Polymarket as the election approaches.

At the time of writing, Trump was favoured with 55.6%, ahead of Harris with 44.4%. Last week, this was quite a different picture, with Trump ahead by more than 33%, with 66.9% and Harris trailing him with 33.1%.

Polymarket also shows that, not unexpectedly, the race for the swing states is as close as ever. Maybe it will even come down to just one state, as Pennsylvania emerges as one of the most important states.

To win on the betting platform pundits need to know that the market resolves if AP, Fox News and NBC News all “call the race for the same candidate”.

Meanwhile, the third-person battle royale game, Off The Grid, has introduced new character skins that resemble presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in its ‘Save Democracy Content Pack’.

The release, with skins and other features inspired by the candidates’ known phrases and policy positions, has been met with excitement and surprise from the gaming community, describing it as “insane” and “wild”.

While the characters clearly look and speak like the candidates, the developers shied away from officially confirming anything.

Both characters are fictional. Voices performed by actors. Gunzilla Games does not endorse any politician as none of them represent our values.

Some of the statements of the characters though are both hilarious and revealing.

My right arm, make sure it’s not made in China.

Sounds somewhat familiar, doesn’t it?

Crypto Twitter reacted mostly with disbelief…and humour.
