Gitcoin’s Layer-2 Ethereum Network Aims to Finance Public Goods, Reduce Transaction Costs

Gitcoin has launched its Layer 2 Public Goods Network (PGN), a low-cost solution on Ethereum for financing public goods and key services for decentralized applications. PGN, developed using OP Stack, employs Optimistic Rollups technology to reduce transaction costs while maintaining Ethereum’s security features. A significant portion of sequencer fees on PGN will be directed towards supporting public goods projects.
