Coinbase Looking Into Bitcoin Lightning Network Integration

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has announced that the Lightning Network, a layer-2 scaling solution for Bitcoin, is set to be added to the platform. The Lightning Network addresses scalability issues by enabling off-chain transactions that are faster and more cost-effective than traditional on-chain transactions. Armstrong responded to criticism from Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Block Inc, stating that Coinbase is not ignoring Bitcoin and claiming that it has onboarded more people to the cryptocurrency than any other company.
