Chainlink Launches Cross-Chain Protocol to Bridge Blockchains With Traditional Capital Markets

Chainlink has launched its CrossChain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) on its Mainnet, allowing for communication between different blockchain networks. CCIP has already been adopted by DeFi lending protocols Aave and Synthetix, and Chainlink is working with traditional finance players like Swift and BNY Mellon. Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, believes CCIP will unite the fragmented global financial system, similar to how TCPIP united the internet.
