At Lynex, our commitment to providing you with an exceptional experience drives every step we take. As we work diligently to establish the native liquidity hub on Linea, we recognize the paramount importance of thorough testing. Hence, we’re excited to introduce you to the Lynex Testnet, where you can actively participate in shaping our platform’s success.

On August 21st, we’re launching the full Lynex dApp on Linea Testnet. This might seem unusual considering the our DEX is on Mainnet, but rest assured, it’s all part of our plan to ensure that every feature, especially the crucial ve(3,3) component, is rigorously evaluated and optimized.

GUIDE

Step 1: Adding Linea Test Network

• Access the ‘Chainlist Linea Network’ option.
• Connect your wallet to proceed.

Note: We recommend using using Metamask as Linea chain is integrated automatically

Step 2: Acquiring $ETH on Linea Testnet

This step is pivotal. We recommend using the Infura faucet for a hassle-free 0.5ETH allocation.

• Visit https://www.infura.io/faucet/linea
• Paste your wallet address.
• Register and receive test tokens.

Alternative ways:

• You can claim Test ETH via Faucet Trade. You’ll just need to complete simple social tasks to claim
• Acquire Goerli Test tokens and bridge them to Linea Testnet via HOP Bridge

Step 3: Connecting Your Wallet

Visit [Testnet Link] and click ‘Connect wallet’ at the top-right corner. Choose a supported wallet containing Linea Testnet $ETH.

Step 4: Dive into Lynex

Now comes the exciting part. Immerse yourself in the Lynex dApp:

• Swap, add liquidity, withdraw, vote, lock, claim, create bribes, open and close gauges.
• Push the limits of the platform; we encourage you to explore every nook and cranny. Your actions will provide invaluable insights into the platform’s resilience.

Swap

As a dedicated DEX, we’re committed to providing you with a seamless token swapping experience. Our user-friendly swap tool has already been released in a pre-launch phase for everyone’s convenience. But don’t just take our word for it — we encourage you to give it a try yourself.

Steps to Swap:

1. Click on the dropdown menu to select the desired token you wish to swap.
2. Choose your slippage tolerance (default is set at 0.5%).
3. Click the ‘Swap’ button to initiate the process.

Add Liquidity

When it comes to adding liquidity, we’ve streamlined the process to make it hassle-free. On the Liquidity page, you have two straightforward options:

Option 1: Add/Remove Liquidity

1. Click the ‘Add/Remove Liquidity’ button.
2. Select the tokens you wish to pair and set your preferred price range.
3. Input the desired deposit amounts.
4. Click ‘Add Liquidity’ to proceed.

Option 2: Quick Pool Management

If you’re already set on a particular pool, here’s how to proceed:

1. Click the ‘Manage’ button situated next to the pool of your choice.
2. A dedicated page will open with pre-selected tokens, range, and strategy.
3. Indicate the amount you want to add.
4. Click ‘Add Liquidity’ to complete the process.

Removing Liquidity

The procedure for removing liquidity is just as straightforward. Here’s how you can navigate through it:

1. Follow the identical steps by initially going to the ‘Liquidity’ page.
2. Upon arrival, locate the ‘Add/Remove Liquidity’ button, the same as before.
3. However, this time, you’ll toggle the ‘remove’ tab within the ‘Manage Liquidity’ panel.
4. Once you do this, a comprehensive list of your current LPs will be presented before you.
5. Make your selection by clicking on the LP you wish to withdraw.
6. Afterward, select the desired withdrawal amount.
7. Click the ‘Withdraw’ button to initiate the process.

Stake LP

Harnessing the power of your LPs is made easy on our Liquidity page. Follow these simple steps to stake or unstake your LPs:

Staking LPs:

1. Navigate to the ‘Liquidity’ page.
2. A list of available pools will show.
3. Click ‘Manage’ beside the desired pool where you want to stake your LPs.
4. Confirm the amount of LP you intend to stake.
5. Click ‘Stake LP’ to finalize the process.

Unstaking LPs:

1. Access the Liquidity page.
2. Find the pool with your staked LP.
3. Click ‘Manage’ beside the desired pool where your staked LP is.
4. Toggle the ‘Unstake’ option at the top
5. Select the amount you wish to remove and click ‘unstake’

Lock

Empower your participation by utilizing our locking feature, designed to enhance your voting power and boost your earnings through veLYNX. Follow these straightforward steps to make the most of it:

1. Begin by swapping testnet ETH to obtain testnet LYNX tokens.
2. Navigate to the ‘Lock’ page.
3. Click ‘Create Lock’ to initiate the process.
4. Choose the quantity of LYNX tokens you wish to lock and define the duration of the lock.

Keep in mind, the longer your lock duration, the greater your voting power will become. Learn more here.

Vote

Your active involvement is pivotal in shaping the future of emissions distribution. Follow these simple steps before the epoch concludes to cast your vote for the desired LYNX emissions allocation:

1. Head over to the ‘Vote’ section, where you’ll be greeted with an array of pools.
2. On the right-hand side of each pool, you can allocate a percentage of your vote.
3. Once you’ve made your selections, solidify your choices by clicking ‘Cast Votes’ at the page’s bottom.
4. A concise overview of your votes will be presented at the top, ensuring that your allocation sums up to 100%.
5. If necessary, you can modify your decisions by clicking ‘Reset’ at the page’s base, giving you the flexibility to recast your votes.

Seize this opportunity to actively shape the course of LYNX emissions, contributing to the collective growth and vitality of our ecosystem.

Claim Rewards

After an epoch concludes, it’s your moment to reap the benefits. Follow these steps to claim your hard-earned rewards on the ‘Rewards’ page:

1. First, navigate to the ‘Rewards’ section and pinpoint your veLYNX position.
2. Under the ‘Current Epoch’ tab, a comprehensive list of gauges that come with claimable rewards and the weekly veLYNX rebase will be displayed.
3. To take home your dues, you have two options: You can either hit the ‘Claim’ button corresponding to each gauge individually, or simplify the process by opting for the ‘Claim All’ button located near the top of the page.
4. Once you’ve initiated the claims, your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transactions. Give the green light and then click ‘Close’ to finalize the process.

This uncomplicated procedure ensures that you collect your well-deserved bribes and fees, making your participation in the ecosystem truly rewarding.

Incentivized Testnet Campaign

From August 21st until September 3rd, we will run our Incentivized Testnet Campaign on Galxe.

This two-week campaign has been designed to extensively test the ve(3,3) model before the Token Generation Event (TGE). The Galxe will contain simple social tasks and on-chain tasks.

This campaign has a massive prize pool of $10,000 worth of Claim LYNX tokens, which will be divided as follows:

• 50% in LYNX tokens
• 50% in veLYNX, locked for two years

The rewards will be disbursed until Token Generation Event (TGE), and the raffled winners will be able to claim their tokens.
