A recent report from Henley & Partners has shed light on Bitcoin and crypto billionaires and millionaires across the globe.

The report shows the existence of 22 crypto billionaires, of which 8 are Bitcoin billionaires. Although the identities of these individuals remain undisclosed, some of the most renowned crypto billionaires include Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao, the CEO of Binance; Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase; and Chris Larsen, the co-founder of Ripple.

The report further indicates that there are approximately 88,200 individuals worldwide who possess cryptocurrency assets exceeding $1 million. Notably, nearly half of these, around 40,500 individuals, hold Bitcoin holdings surpassing $1 million.

However, a spokesperson from Henley & Partners stated that crypto millionaires represent a small fraction when compared to the global population of millionaires with investments in traditional assets such as equities, cash, and real estate.

The report highlights the United States as the leader in the number of crypto millionaires, followed by India, China, Brazil and Russia. Additionally, it mentions that 78 individuals qualify as Bitcoin centi-millionaires, holding over $100 million in BTC, while 182 individuals have assets exceeding $100 million across various crypto assets.

The report concludes with a Crypto Adoption Index, which highlights nations with the highest adoption rates among crypto investors. Singapore takes the lead in the index, followed by Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), while the United States and the United Kingdom secure the fifth and seventh positions, respectively. Portugal and Montenegro are identified as emerging crypto hotspots.
